C & E | Summer Disco Wedding at The Asbury

C & E had a fun & funky disco wedding in Asbury Park, NJ. I love photographing weddings here! The fun murals on the boardwalk and grungy music scene make it such a fun and culturally rich spot to take fun wedding photos. These two had a ton of their friends in tow as part of their wedding party, so we got a ton of action shots of the whole wedding party crossing the streets & on the boardwalk. I loved the contrast of the wedding attire against those who were sunbathing on the beach. A surprise storm rolled in right before the ceremony, but luckily it passed quickly, and we were still able to have the ceremony on the roof of the building which was appropriately lined with colorful beach chairs. Cocktail hour had an acoustic guitarist & plenty of seafood appetizers, and then reception were one giant disco party with disco name cards, a champagne tower, and a giant disco ball hanging above the reception tent. Before I left, Chelsea even changed into a white jumpsuit to appropriately disco & crowd-surf her way through the rest of the reception party
